n Food Technology students are learning basic cooking skills as well as how to follow the NZ Nutrition Guidelines.
In Year 7 the focus will be on food safety, hygiene and basic cooking skills. We will be making an analysing a range of recipes to develop healthy eating knowledge and skills.
In Year 8 the focus is on using the NZ Nutrition Guidelines as a basis forÂ designing, adapting and developing new food productsÂ to create healthier or more cost effective outcomes.
